With more than 40 years in the building industry, Ed Metzel brings a craftsman’s eye, a servant’s heart, and a lifetime of hands-on experience to every real estate journey. Known for his attention to detail and deep construction knowledge, Ed helps clients see the full potential in a property—whether they’re buying, selling, or investing.

Ed grew up in Cleveland Heights and now lives in Boardman, Ohio, where he and his wife have raised their two children. He began his career in the trades as a young man, working for Jim Kurtz back in the 1980s. Decades later, that early connection came full circle as he rejoined the Kurtz family professionally, now bringing his design expertise and client-first mindset to the Kurtz&Co team.

Over the years, Ed has worked in both residential and commercial construction, designing kitchens, bathrooms, and countless home features with care and precision. He’s known for his perfectionism—not just in the physical details, but in the way he serves each client with honesty, respect, and patience.

Ed is a man of faith and service, driven by a deep belief in doing right by others. Whether he's helping a first-time buyer or someone with years of ownership under their belt, his goal is always the same: to listen closely, guide wisely, and help people find a home that truly fits.
