Jim Kurtz brings a lifetime of real estate experience to the table. He bought his first property as a teenager and has spent the decades since building, developing, investing in, and flipping both residential and commercial real estate across Northeast Ohio. Today, he co-leads the Kurtz&Co team alongside his wife, Patti, and is known by clients and colleagues alike as someone who has truly seen it all.
Based in Hudson, Jim has developed entire neighborhoods, managed large-scale commercial projects, and launched a successful restaurant called The Wine Mill. His specialty is seeing the big picture. Jim combines decades of hands-on expertise with a fresh, creative approach to every deal. Whether he is mentoring an agent, guiding a first-time buyer, or structuring a commercial investment, he brings a calm, confident presence and a knack for thinking outside the box.
He is especially skilled at helping investors understand the real value of a property and how to make it work for their goals. He’s also known for his ability to match the right property to the right buyer and the right buyer to the right seller. A unique strength that can only come from the combination of deep market knowledge and an unmatched network of connections. More than anything, Jim is a people person. He is sharp, funny, direct, and focused on building long-term relationships grounded in trust.
Outside of work, Jim is an avid reader of business books and a proud grandfather of nine. Whether he is negotiating a deal or spending time with family, he brings the same sense of curiosity, clarity, and care to everything he does.
